Botox

Prof. Hartstein has years of experience injecting Botox, teaches courses to other physicians on how to inject, and has published scientific articles on books on Botox injections. Botox works by weakening the facial muscles which causes wrinkle to form. The main areas where Botox is injected are:

  • Forehead wrinkles between the brows
  • Wrinkles on the sides of the eyes (crow’s feet)
  • Neck bands or muscles.
  • Eyebrow lift

Prof. Hartstein also injects Botox for relief of migraine headaches.

Botox is injected in the office-clinic. It is a rapid procedure and rarely causes bruising or swelling. It usually takes about one week to start seeing the effects of Botox in enhancing facial appearance.
